This item says you can use a heat mat with it but there is no slot at the back where it can go, also no pre drilled hole/s for thermostat wires to go into.

Love this it’s very good my Pygmy hedgehog seems to love it and has plenty of space to run round. Easy to build with no issues at all.. just wish they did it in white.
